Getting
the room ready...

The plumbers have put a hole in the wall to take a look, and it looks
like a go! to run water and sewer pipes into 3 1/2 West. The electricians
will have to pull another wire so we can use 220 Volts... and that process
is coming along, too. We are still optimistic about opening the room
September 2nd.
Things
we need...
We
have tables and chairs lined up, and are looking for a steam table and
its accoutrements, and some rolling carts, to move food and supplies
around. We've been able to get some equipment for a bargain, second hand,
but it's costing a lot to get this set up, and we can use all the financial help
you can offer! We're also hiring on one of the long-time guests, to
coordinate the operations in the new lunchroom.
We
need help!
When
we open the new site at 3 1/2 West - and it's happening soon! - we are going to
need a whole new batch of volunteers to help make it work. If you want to
